Bornem

Bornem's cultural life includes Ter Dilft, whose programme brings together music, theatre, cinema and activities for schools. Classical vocal music appears alongside contemporary projects using voice, instruments and electronics, while educational events address pupils from preschool through secondary school. The centre also connects performance with the landscape of the Scheldt: its programme includes projects combining music with outdoor visual art beside the river. These different settings and disciplines give Ter Dilft a role that extends beyond the concert hall, linking artistic presentation with education and public space in Bornem.
