Brevard, NC

Brevard, North Carolina, has a musical identity closely associated with the Brevard Music Center. The centre combines a summer training institute with a public festival, bringing student musicians and professional performers into a shared artistic community. Its educational work centres on preparing and performing substantial musical repertoire, while its programmes range from orchestral music and opera to jazz and bluegrass. Students come from across the United States and from other countries.
