Dobrich

Dobrich preserves a connection with the writer Yordan Yovkov through both a house museum and a dedicated memorial building. These two settings provide different approaches to literary remembrance: one retains the scale of a domestic place, while the other creates space for a broader presentation of the writer's life and work. The memorial includes Stoimen Stoilov's ceramic composition devoted to the world of Yovkov's characters. Literature is therefore encountered alongside a visual interpretation of its figures and themes. Together, the museums give the writer's presence in Dobrich a material form, linking biographical memory with the continuing reception of his stories.
