C2 Concerts

C² Concerts is a Stuttgart-based concert and entertainment promoter founded in 2010 by Christian Doll and Christian Ludewig. Its roots lie in Konzert- und Veranstaltungsbüro Ludewig, established in 1985. The company expanded into theatrical production in 2013 and launched a touring division the following year. In 2019 DEAG acquired a majority stake, while the first Kessel Festival took place at Stuttgart’s Cannstatter Wasen. Its activities combine local promotion, touring, musical productions, festivals and event planning. Registered in Stuttgart as C² Concerts GmbH and led by Christian Doll and Melanie Becker, the company works on five fronts at once: touring promoter, local promoter, musical producer, festival organiser and full-service event contractor. Its bills run from pop and comedy to open-air opera — a Nabucco in Stuttgart in August 2023 among them — and it belongs to the German promoters' association, the bdv.
