Camerata Orphica Festival Orchestra

The Camerata Orphica Festival Orchestra is the ensemble associated with Vienna's International Music Academy Orpheus and its Orpheus in Wien festival. It performs with leading teachers and selected participants in the academy's master courses as soloists. The academy's concerts are centred on the Mariahilfer Church, bringing young musicians from the Danube region and other countries into collaboration with established performers. The orchestra provides the instrumental setting for these public performances, linking advanced musical study with festival concert work.
