City Concert Hall "Radosveta Boyadzhieva" (Vratsa)

In May 2024 Vratsa's municipal council gave the town's concert hall the name of Radosveta Boyadzhieva — the first Bulgarian woman to conduct professionally, a composer, and the founder of the town's orchestra. The room is the working hall of Simfonieta-Vratsa, the state philharmonic set up in 1973, which works from Hristo Botev Square 1, an address it shares with the drama and puppet theatre. Subscription symphony concerts carry most of the season; every November the orchestra runs an international music forum there, and visiting ensembles and touring soloists use the same stage.
