Filharmoniya Hall

Razgrad stands in the Ludogorie, the low plateau of north-eastern Bulgaria, on a site whose Roman predecessor, Abritus, lies excavated at the town's edge. Its concert hall draws much of its programme from outside: touring orchestras and chamber ensembles from Rousse, Shumen and Sofia, together with the recitals and school concerts that make up a provincial season. Filharmoniya Hall is a 290-seat performance venue administered by Razgrad's Municipal Cultural Centre. Its programme includes piano recitals: in December 2023, pianist Fidosi Kerchev was announced there in a programme of German Classical and Romantic music.
