Hamburg's Musikhalle, opened in 1908 as the city's concert house, received the Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra on 21 January 2005 through Jahnke, the agency that put the evening on. The programme ran from the overture to Le nozze di Figaro into a sequence of tenor arias by Donizetti and Verdi, with Lance Ryan, Luigi Frattola, Vincenzo Sanso, Orfeo Zanetti, Stoyan Daskalov and Andrea Hörkens as soloists.
