Katya Popova Hall

Katya Popova Hall is a concert and civic venue in Pleven, named after the Bulgarian soprano. Its 300-seat auditorium accommodates performances by the Pleven Philharmonic, visiting musicians, theatrical productions and singing competitions, as well as ceremonies and conferences. A municipal renovation project announced in February 2022 provided for improvements to energy efficiency, accessibility and stage facilities. The plans included a passenger lift, an additional evacuation staircase and new sound equipment. The hall therefore serves several branches of the city's cultural programme, with orchestral concerts sharing its facilities with spoken theatre and public events.
