The Klosterberghalle is Langenselbold’s cultural and conference centre within the setting of the town’s eighteenth-century palace ensemble. Its principal space, the hexagonal Saal Europa, covers 540 square metres and has a stage that can be extended towards the audience. A foyer and the Brussels and Strasbourg meeting rooms support smaller events. The complex accommodates performances, receptions, conferences and community celebrations, with room arrangements ranging from small meetings to large gatherings. Langenselbold, a town on the Kinzig east of Frankfurt, keeps the Klosterberghalle as its all-purpose room — sport, civic assembly, touring entertainment, the school prize-giving. Halls like it are the working infrastructure of German provincial culture, and they see more singing than any concert-hall statistic records. Vocal galas have been among the evenings staged there, including the popular tenor programme Die Nacht der 5 Tenöre.
