Kulturhaus Mönchengladbach

Mönchengladbach grew wealthy on textiles on the Lower Rhine, and its concert life has always been spread across several buildings rather than gathered into one. The Kulturhaus is among the rooms the city uses for touring and popular-classical programmes, operatic gala evenings among them, rather than a dedicated symphonic auditorium. It serves a public with the region's larger stages within easy reach, and it fills the gap between them.
