The Russian federal body for state cultural policy stood, together with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bulgaria, as organiser of the Bulgarian gala concert given in the Bolshoj Theatre in Moscow on 5 February 2009 — a programme from Vladigerov's Vardar rhapsody and Zlatev-Cherkin's Sevdana to Kyurkchiyski's Dai mi, Bozhe, with Theodosii Spassov, Svetlin Roussev, Elitsa Todorova, Stoyan Yankoulov and Ivo Papazov among the soloists.
