Oberrheinhalle Offenburg

The Oberrheinhalle is a conference and performance venue within the Messe Offenburg-Ortenau grounds. Its Great Hall can accommodate up to 2,200 people and is supported by a large foyer and five conference rooms. The building is used for concerts, meetings and corporate events, with technical conference services supplied by the exhibition operator. A connecting passage to the neighbouring Ortenauhalle allows a congress in the Oberrheinhalle to be combined with a separate exhibition. Where the Rhine plain meets the vineyards of the Ortenau, Offenburg has long been a market and exhibition town, and the Oberrheinhalle belongs to its trade-fair grounds — a wide hall built for stands and crowds, pressed into service as an auditorium when a touring production needs more seats than a theatre can offer. Operatic gala evenings on the German circuit have been among those productions.
