The Salle André Beaudran is a municipal events hall on Avenue de Laplagne in Mirande, in the Gers. The town makes it available for performances, dances, meals, congresses and meetings, giving it a role beyond concert presentation. It is also a venue for Les Scènes Magiques, a performing-arts festival bringing together professional and amateur participants. The festival’s fifth edition, announced for March 2026, combined theatre, music, circus, puppetry and magic with workshops for schoolchildren. Through such programmes the hall supports both visiting performers and community participation in the performing arts. Mirande was laid out as a bastide in the thirteenth century, on the Grande Baïse in the Gers, and it has the grid plan and central square to prove it. Its municipal hall, named for André Beaudran, is where Gascon audiences gather for concerts, recitals and the operatic galas that tour the region in summer — the town's largest indoor room, and its default answer to any event too big for the square.
