Salle Gramont is a performance auditorium within the Jean-Baptiste Lully Conservatory in Puteaux. Its largest seating arrangement provides 569 seats and thirteen spaces for people with reduced mobility; smaller configurations are also possible. The hall has a proscenium stage, an orchestra pit and a balcony, with lift access to all three levels. Four dressing rooms accommodate up to twenty-four performers. These facilities place a substantial performance venue within the conservatory’s teaching and rehearsal complex. Puteaux faces La Défense across a bend of the Seine, close enough that the towers are the view from most of its streets, and it keeps its own cultural life independent of that skyline. Salle Gramont is one of the municipal halls that supports it, taking concerts, recitals and touring theatre for a local audience; Bizet's Carmen has been given there.
