Stadthalle Ahlen

The hall was built between 1970 and 1977 by Parade Architekten as one half of a combined cultural and administrative centre, sharing a site near the old town with the town hall. It is the largest event building in the Warendorf district and is run by a municipal company, Stadthalle Ahlen GmbH, at Westenmauer 10, a few minutes on foot from the station. A large hall with a stage, a smaller hall, foyers and conference rooms take concerts, touring theatre and comedy as readily as trade meetings, school graduations and private parties; a restaurant works on weekdays.
