Stadthalle Bad Hersfeld

Stadthalle Bad Hersfeld stands on Wittastraße beside the Kurpark der Jahreszeiten. The municipal venue combines a large hall with a full stage and three additional conference rooms. Its rooms can be arranged for receptions, banquets, balls, seminars and other gatherings, with lighting and sound facilities adapted to the event. The smaller rooms provide spaces for meetings alongside the main hall's larger public functions. Its location beside the spa park connects the indoor venue with one of the city's principal landscaped public spaces. Bad Hersfeld is known for the summer festival played in its roofless abbey ruin; the Stadthalle on Wittastraße is the indoor counterpart that works through the winter. One large hall with a full stage and three conference rooms carry concerts, balls, banquets, conferences and seminars, and the town lists the building among its own facilities. Touring orchestras belong to the winter season — the Plovdiv symphony played there in February 2013.
