The municipal theatre of Landsberg am Lech. The house opened in 1878 with the Burger-Theatergesellschaft and is among the oldest continuously running citizens' theatres in Bavaria. The building had earlier served as the Storggenbad and then, after the neighbouring hospital burned in 1874, as its store. It was rebuilt between 1993 and 1995 to plans by Wolfgang-Eckard Lups, who added a new facade, foyer and theatre garden, and reopened in October 1995. The auditorium seats 295 with about eighty standing places; the garden takes some 350 in summer.
