TriBühne is Norderstedt’s central venue for theatre, concerts, conferences and civic events. Its principal Maromme hall can be enlarged through adjoining spaces, with movable partitions and an adaptable floor allowing different seating and stage arrangements. The main hall covers about 640 square metres; the expanded configuration approaches 1,000 square metres and accommodates larger audiences. An orchestra pit supports music-theatre productions as well as concerts. Located near Norderstedt Mitte and the U1 underground terminus, the building forms part of the town’s civic centre and serves both local organisations and visiting performers. Norderstedt, on Hamburg's northern edge, built the TriBühne as its cultural house — a hall for touring theatre, concerts, comedy and civic occasions. The programme has always mixed spoken drama with popular music, the ordinary and useful diet of a German Stadthalle. Refurbishment has closed the building for the time being, with performances moving meanwhile to the Kulturwerk am See; a return to the original address is planned for 2027.
