The Willy-Brandt-Halle is a civic and events centre in Mühlheim am Main. Its facilities combine a large hall, a smaller hall, a stage, foyer and meeting rooms for concerts, theatre, conferences, local associations and private celebrations. Room combinations and seating arrangements vary with the event: there are approximately 600 places in combined-hall row seating and up to 1,200 people without seating. This flexible arrangement distinguishes it from a fixed-seat concert theatre. The venue is named after the former German chancellor and forms part of the town's public cultural infrastructure. Named for the former federal chancellor, the hall serves Mühlheim am Main as its largest indoor space, built for the multi-purpose use that defines German municipal halls: sport by day, assemblies and receptions, and on concert nights a stage at one end with chairs set out across the floor. The town lies on the Main just east of Offenbach, within easy reach of Frankfurt, and its hall draws the touring productions that work the conurbation's smaller centres.
