Andrei Lazăr

Named in the cast of the Bucharest National Opera's Cavalleria rusticana and Pagliacci on 12 November 2021, Andrei Lazăr sang beside Sidonia Nica, Alin Stoica, Vicențiu Țăranu and Sorana Negrea. A graduate of the National University of Music in Bucharest and winner of the Grand Prize at the Ionel Perlea lied competition, he joined the Bucharest National Opera in 2011, where his first principal part was Cațavencu in the world premiere of Dan Dediu's O scrisoare pierdută. He sang as well in the first performances of Dediu's D'ale carnavalului and Gil Shohat's The Eichmann Trial, and gives recitals and concerts with Romanian orchestras including the George Enescu Philharmonic and the National Radio Chamber Orchestra.
