Biography
Raina Kabaivanska masterclass gala concerts at the Sofia National Opera brought Angela Schisano to the Bulgarian capital in 2016 and 2017, alongside Marily Santoro, Davide Ryu, Aleksandrina Mihaylova and Strahinja Djokic. From Sorrento, she took her degree with honours at the San Pietro a Majella Conservatory in Naples and went on to study with Raina Kabaivanska in Siena and Sofia and with Renata Scotto in Savona. From the 2020/21 season she was part of the Fabbrica young artists programme at the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, where she sang Annina in Mario Martone's filmed La traviata under Daniele Gatti and Fekluša in Janáček's Káťa Kabanová.
