Arseniy Arsov

Opera, oratorio and chamber music all have their place in the work of Arseniy Arsov, a Bulgarian tenor who has sung with the country's opera companies and as a guest abroad. Varna Opera has been the centre of that work since his debut there in 1981 as Paolino in Cimarosa's Il matrimonio segreto, and he also took leading roles with the Eurostage company, while abroad he has sung in Madrid, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Lisbon and Rome. He studied at the Pancho Vladigerov Music Academy with Sima Ivanova and Resa Koleva and later with Blagovesta Karnobatlova-Dobreva, and he has taught singing and worked to preserve recordings of Bulgarian opera singers.
