Axel Kircher

On 19 May 2007 Axel Kircher appeared with the Rousse Philharmonic Orchestra in Ruse, in a concert he shared with Bojidara Kouzmanova. Kircher is an Austrian violist from Klagenfurt who studied in Stuttgart with Hermann Voss and Gunter Teuffel and in Paris with Gérard Caussé, his chamber training coming from the Melos Quartet and Erich Höbarth. He has played in the Musikverein and the Konzerthaus in Vienna and at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, appeared with the Berlin Philharmonic, the Vienna Symphony and Klangforum Wien, and in 2007 became the violist of the Kreisler Trio Wien.
