Rock singer
Biography
Offered a solo album in 1987, Björn Lodin chose to release it under a band name — Baltimoore — and that name has carried his work as singer, songwriter and bandleader ever since, beginning with There's No Danger on the Roof. He came up through Swedish rock bands in the early 1980s, recorded with Six Feet Under and worked briefly with the Swiss band Krokus. From Åland he worked with the Bulgarian guitarist Nikolo Kotzev, who played on Double Density and Thought for Food; he has also worked with Lars Eric Mattsson and with the group HARD, and has worked in recording and run his own label. The work with Kotzev began in 1992. Quick Fix and Back for More are among the Baltimoore albums, and he has also made a solo record in Swedish.
