Bogdan Ocheșel

In the Constanța company's La traviata of 5 November 2016, Bogdan Ocheșel sang with Andrei Băican, Stela Sîrbu, Marius Eftimie and Adrian Bădilă, in a production prepared by Anghel Ionescu-Arbore and Cătălin Ionescu-Arbore. A baritone of the Oleg Danovski theatre in Constanța, he had come to music through the accordion, the guitar and choral singing, studied with Silvia Ticneanu, and joined the company in 1998 after a recital brought him to the notice of its musical secretary. He spent the seasons from 2007 to 2009 in Liège before returning, and alongside the stage he has taught and founded Opera Viva, a cultural association. Before entering the conservatory he also studied with Aida Abagieff.
