Borislav Vezhenov

Rashko Mladenov's anniversary was marked in Sofia on 1 October 2017 by a concert with the Sofia Philharmonic in which Borislav Vezhenov appeared, an evening that also brought Ludmil Angelov, Lyubomir Denev, Anatoly Krastev and Itzhak Fintzi to the platform. Hristo Yotsov and Dimitar Stoyanovich prepared the programme. Born in 1985, he took his acting degree for the drama theatre from the Krastyo Sarafov National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in 2008, in the class of Stefan Danailov, and while still a student took part in productions of the Ivan Vazov National Theatre, among them Yavor Gardev's King Lear. Harry Kane in Pinter's The Collection at Sfumato, Coelio in Musset's The Caprices of Marianne in Lovech, Philip in Stratiev's Orchestra Without a Name in Plovdiv and a long series of parts at the Sava Ognyanov theatre in Rousse followed, and in 2011 he was nominated for an ICAR award for Andrey in Three Sisters.
