Bruno Robba

Bruno Robba's 2016 season took him through the towns of the Paris region with the State Opera Rousse — Rueil-Malmaison, Yerres, Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, Longjumeau — in casts that included Alexandra Foresta, Dobromir Momekov, Teodor Petkov and Momchil Milanov. Robba studied with José Todaro, Franco Corelli and Jean-Louis Calvani and won the national singing competition at Béziers in 2005, beginning with Turiddu in a concert Cavalleria rusticana and going on to Rodolfo, Tamino, Nemorino, Alfredo and Edgardo. French operetta and sacred music run through his work as well, among them Rossini's Stabat Mater, Mozart's Requiem and Puccini's Messa di Gloria, and he has appeared with Opéra Éclaté, including at the Royal Theatre in Rabat.
