Biography
A participant in Raina Kabaivanska's masterclass, Chiara Fiorani sang in its gala concert in Sofia on 24 September 2009, accompanied by the Sofia Philharmonic. She sang as a child in Roman choirs and studied with Maria Luisa Carboni and Silvana Bazzoni Bartoli before entering the Opera Studio of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia with Renata Scotto. Her early stage parts included Carmosina in Don Chisciotte at Montepulciano in 2005 and Tamiri in Mozart's Il re pastore the following year, and she took part in memorial concerts for Luciano Pavarotti with Kabaivanska in 2008, holding a scholarship from the Raina Kabaivanska Fund in 2009.
