Chiara Mogini

Chiara Mogini sang in the 2021 gala concerts of Raina Kabaivanska's masterclass in Sofia and Plovdiv, alongside Galina Ovchinnikova, Vincenzo Spinelli, Andrea Barbato and Kwangsik Park in the Sofia gala. She began her operatic career in soprano roles and later moved to the mezzo-soprano repertoire. She had taken degrees in singing and piano at the Perugia Conservatory and gone on to the academies of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and the Teatro Regio di Parma before studying with Raina Kabaivanska, and she won the sixty-ninth European Community competition for young opera singers at Spoleto. Amelia in Un ballo in maschera, Mimì and Santuzza belonged to her first years, while Amneris, Azucena, Ulrica and the Princess of Bouillon came with the change of register, in houses that included Bologna, Cagliari, Trieste and Catania.
