Biography
Appearing in Sofia with the State Opera Rousse, Daniel Muñoz sang in the company's Aida on 27 May 2015, sharing the evening with Alisa Zinovieva and Marzio Giossi in a production prepared by Ognyan Draganov. Born in Buenos Aires, Muñoz trained at the Beethoven Conservatory and at the Instituto Superior de Arte of the Teatro Colón before continuing his studies in Europe. Zarzuela came first, in Buenos Aires and at the Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid, and his European operatic debut was in Lucia di Lammermoor in Lisbon, after which the Italian and French repertoire carried him through Europe and the Americas. He teaches vocal technique and gives masterclasses; he was announced as a teacher at the Centro de Perfeccionamiento Vocal Miguel Alonso in Madrid.
