Doogie White

In 1994 Ritchie Blackmore took Doogie White as the singer of a reconstituted Rainbow; White recorded Stranger in Us All and toured with the band. Born in Motherwell in 1960, he also sang with the Scottish band La Paz. He toured Japan with Praying Mantis; his other collaborations included Cornerstone, Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force, Tank, Michael Schenker's Temple of Rock, a spell with Alcatrazz from 2020, and Long Shadows Dawn with the guitarist Emil Norberg. He has also sung the symphonic side of the repertoire, including performances of Jon Lord's Concerto for Group and Orchestra. Cornerstone took shape with Steen Mogensen of Royal Hunt.
