Iliya Igribozov

Schooled in his own city, at the Prof. Veselin Stoyanov National School of Arts in Ruse, Iliya Igribozov works as a double bass player. He plays in the double bass section of the State Opera Rousse orchestra and teaches at the Prof. Veselin Stoyanov National School of Arts in Ruse, where he himself trained. Away from the pit he keeps to jazz and to rock: the trio Petak 13-ti, formed with the drummer Sava Boyadzhiev and the pianist Todor Stefanov, both fellow alumni of the Ruse arts school, was announced at the city's Max Club in 2021 for a concert later marked as postponed, and in the spring of 2024 he joined Huben Nurev and Mladen Minev in founding the punk band Uncle Punk, which performs mainly its own songs. He also studied at the Pancho Vladigerov National Academy of Music.
