Kristiyan Hristov

Kristiyan Hristov's two appearances in the closing galas of Raina Kabaivanska's international master classes — at the Sofia Opera in October 2023 and again in October 2024 — place him among the singers who came back to the course for a second year. A tenor from Sofia, he read opera singing at the New Bulgarian University and made his stage debut at twenty-two as Ismaele in Nabucco at the Rousse Opera. In 2024 he sang Alfredo in La traviata at the opera house in Graz, and the twenty-fourth of Kabaivanska's master classes, which took fourteen singers out of more than ninety applicants, brought him a scholarship to the Vecchi-Tonelli Conservatory in Modena.
