Biography
Long attached to State Opera Ruse, Lilyana Harizanova has sung in productions that reach across a wide stretch of the repertory — Verdi's Rigoletto, Mascagni's Cavalleria rusticana and Richard Strauss's Der Rosenkavalier. A soprano, she has sung as one of the soloists of the chorus of State Opera Ruse, and in that capacity appeared in a chamber Baroque programme at the Club of Cultural Workers in Ruse — arias, duets and trios from the cantata and oratorio repertory on sacred subjects — with Lora Draganova, soprano and violinist, and the tenor Dilyan Bliznakov, accompanied by Natalia Radoslavova and Bozhena Petrova.
