I am glad to record that Mr Nayden Todorov has already been active within the framework of Austrian foreign cultural policy, when in 1998 he conducted a concert of works by contemporary Austrian composers at the Thracian Summer in Bulgaria. His training, the musical achievement he has already demonstrated, as well as the acclaim he has received both inside and outside Austria at his young age from his teachers, from fellow musicians and from the public, lead one to expect that a successful career as conductor and pianist lies ahead of him.
