The musical writing, which in the orchestra unfolds both overwhelming movement and sonority and atmospheres of aching poetry, finds a fine interpreter in the Orchestra of the Teatro dell’Opera di Rousse conducted by Nayden Todorov. Chorus and orchestra manage to communicate an intense sense of ensemble.
