Nayden Todorov in the Focus of the Sofia Opera

In this performance Nayden Todorov's baton not only never hindered the singers but aided them skilfully and almost imperceptibly. From the very first bars of the opera's introduction he riveted the listeners' attention… The precise tempo and the 'dolce' dynamics the conductor demanded, underpinned by inner feeling, unfolded through the hushed hall.
