Two Pieces for Flute and Harp

Leitner's earliest albums were made for flute and harp without orchestra — The Gardens of Birr Castle Demesne in 2001, Castle Music in 2006, Music of Great Irish Houses in 2007 — and this pair of pieces is scored for that duo rather than for the larger combination of her later work. One recording is documented. Leitner, born in Vienna in 1972, has worked with harpists throughout her career, and the duo remains the core of her writing even when an orchestra is added. No date of composition has been traced.
