Bad Orb’s spa park brings together buildings and outdoor spaces associated with the town’s resort life. The surviving Gradierwerk, the former reading hall and the inhalatorium stand alongside walking routes and planted areas. A herb garden was established in 2000, while a barefoot path and Kneipp facilities form part of the park’s recreational use. Festivals also bring public events into this setting.

Music has a dedicated home in the Konzerthalle, which opened in 1958 and underwent renovation between 2010 and 2012. Its presence gives the spa quarter a substantial indoor venue as well as its open-air gathering spaces. The relationship between the concert hall and the park is characteristic of the resort: architecture, gardens and entertainment occupy the same district, allowing cultural events to form part of the experience of the place.
