The Concert Hall of the Aichi Prefectural Art Theater is part of the Aichi Arts Center in Nagoya’s Higashisakura district. Entered from the fourth floor, it is a dedicated classical-music auditorium distinct from the complex’s Main Theater and Mini Theater. Its 1,800-seat layout combines shoebox and arena principles, with an occupied reverberation time of 2.1 seconds. A pipe organ built by Karl Schuke of Berlin has 93 stops and 6,883 pipes. The hall is among the venues used by the Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra.
