The Ehrenhof, the inner courtyard of Ludwigsburg Residential Palace, is used for open-air concerts within the Baroque palace complex. Its summer programmes have included the KSK Music Open series. Five concerts were scheduled there between 31 July and 6 August 2015, with ten thousand spectators expected for the opening event. Concert preparations required technical installations and sound checks, while visitor routes through the courtyard and into the adjoining Blühendes Barock gardens were adapted around the performances.
