История

Borusan Sanat was established in Istanbul in 1997 as the arts organisation associated with the Borusan Kocabıyık Foundation. Its activities centre on the Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra and Borusan Quartet, alongside educational and other cultural projects. It launched a children's choir in 2002 and an overseas music-scholarship programme in 2005. The Borusan Music House opened in Beyoğlu in 2010, providing a venue for classical, contemporary, jazz and world music, dance and exhibitions.
