Оркестърът на Classic FM радио

The Classic FM Radio Orchestra was founded in Sofia in 2002 by Vassil Dimitrov. Its first players were selected through auditions and masterclasses led by Mincho Minchev and Robert Cohen at the March Music Days festival in Ruse. Early performances took place within Sofia's European Music Festival. The Concertmasters series began in autumn 2002, followed by The Music of America in 2010. The ensemble has worked with Bulgarian and international soloists and toured abroad. In 2023 it adopted the name Cantus Firmus Orchestra, continuing its concert and educational activities under that title.
