A Sofia publishing house set up in 1990 by the screenwriter and film critic Raymond Wagenstein with the translators Silvia Wagenstein, Rositsa Tasheva and Zhechka Georgieva, Colibri issues around 150 new titles a year — foreign fiction above all, with classics, children's books and dictionaries alongside — and keeps its shops on Ivan Vazov Street and Slaveykov Square. It reaches concert listings through its book launches, which are staged as evenings with music: A Breath of Angels was presented in Varna in December 2021 and in Stara Zagora in November 2022.
