The Congress Saal is the plenary hall of the Messe und Congress Centrum Halle Münsterland, the event complex the city of Münster began building in 1925 on the site of the municipal gasworks. The room covers 1,024 square metres over stalls and gallery, has a height-adjustable three-part stage built in, and holds 1,071 in rows — 855 below, 216 above — or 1,500 standing. Congresses and trade fairs dominate the calendar; touring concerts use the same room.
