The NHK Cultural House opened in Burgas in 1975 as the cultural centre of the Neftohim petrochemical complex. Designed by a team including Todor Krastev, it stands on Troykata Square. Donated to the municipality in 2012, the building underwent a substantial reconstruction completed in 2020. Its Toncho Rusev auditorium has 514 seats, an orchestra pit and a revolving stage. Rehearsal rooms, a chamber hall, art studios and an outdoor courtyard stage accommodate concerts, theatre, exhibitions and educational activities.
