Елцпарк, Мосбах

The Elzpark forms part of Mosbach’s municipal park landscape beside the old town. Redeveloped for the 1997 Baden-Württemberg garden show, the wider nineteen-hectare park connects historic gardens with newer recreation areas along the restored course of the Elz. The Kleiner Elzpark concentrates play and sporting facilities, while the Großer Elzpark includes extensive natural meadows. A designated outdoor event area accommodates concerts, film evenings and festivals. The site therefore combines everyday public recreation with seasonal cultural use.
