Европахале – Трир

Europahalle Trier is a congress and events complex near Viehmarktplatz. Built between 1975 and 1977, it opened on 1 October 1977, replacing the functions of the Treviris hall demolished in 1974. Its principal rooms are named Metz, Gloucester and Herzogenbusch. Their variable configurations accommodate conferences, concerts, exhibitions and other public events. The complex was developed alongside a hotel and also housed a regional broadcasting studio from 1977 to 1999.
