James Madison University built its arts complex on South Main Street in Harrisonburg, Virginia, directly opposite the old Wilson Hall, and named it for Bruce and Lois Forbes. Five performance spaces sit within 175,000 square feet: a mainstage theatre, a dance theatre named for Earlynn J. Miller, two studios, and the Concert Hall, which seats six hundred and carries the university's orchestral, choral and wind programmes as well as visiting ensembles.
